The plant incorporates two Cleaver-Brooks CBW 100% efficient and emissions-free electric boilers, high-voltage electrical switch-gear, boiler and system circulators, variable speed drive systems, energy metering, system-expansion and a building communications infrastructure for system automation.

All of these features are packed into what is both a structurally and seismically designed power house, insulated and conditioned for the city of Kamloops’ weather patterns and environments.
